Whitehall Terrace is an older rural community in northern Mount Pleasant right off of Highway 17. It is located just above the Charleston National golf course, and has recently been annexed into the town of Mount Pleasant. Built mostly in the 1970s, homes in the area are situated on large lots with mature trees. There is a brand-new residential development under construction behind the White Hall Terrace neighborhood. Most of the existing homes range in size from 1,000 square feet to 2,000-plus square feet. Numerous open lots are available in the White Hall Terrace community as well.
