The Snee Farm subdivision between Long Point Road and Johnnie Dodds Boulevard is named for the 19th-century Snee Farm Plantation property that it occupies. Sprawling grand oaks throughout the neighborhood retain the historic feel. Construction of Snee Farm began in the 1970s. It is a golf course community with residences situated on and around the 18-hole George Cobb course. The country club also features 18 tennis courts with hard and clay surfaces and a swimming pool. The subdivision is a mix of large estates, midsized homes and condos and townhomes.
