Less than three miles from the Ravenel Bridge leading to downtown Charleston and less than four miles from the beach, the Old Mt. Pleasant neighborhood is a more affordable option to the historic Old Village community, which is just a few streets over. You’ll find an eclectic mix of homes dating anywhere from the 1950s to the 2000s. The area features a large number of brick ranches built in the 1960s-1970s. None of the homes in the Old Mt. Pleasant area are waterfront, but the Mt. Pleasant Sports Complex and award-winning Mt. Pleasant Academy elementary school are within walking distance.
